• What happens after you call

holderA GP or nurse practitioner will telephone to clinically assess and advise you. As we do not normally have access to the records held at your surgery, it would be helpful if you could have details of any current medication the patient is taking.

Our medical team includes GPs, nurse practitioners and fully supervised doctors in GP training. Occassionally you might be asked if, in addition to the medical staff, a medical student can see you. Details of any contact with Devon Doctors are sent to the patient's GP practice the next working day.

    The outcome may be:

    • Advice on self-treatment at home
    • Attending a local treatment centre
