The NHS in south Devon accepts the findings of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) report into the death of three-year-old Sam Morrish, which is published today (Thursday) .
Organisations recognise that they failed Sam at each stage of his contact with the health service, and in subsequent investigations, and have apologised to his family.

One of Devon Doctors’ newest ‘projects’ continues to go from strength to strength.
We assumed responsibility for Exeter’s Clock Tower Surgery in the autumn of 2012 and the outstanding and on-going progress that has been made since is evidenced in the latest KPI quarterly performance report.

Devon Doctors has been awarded the contract to support GP trainees through their training.
This will see us offer them continuous employment as they move from one placement to another. GP trainees are put in a variety of placements during their three-year training, rotating through GP practices, acute and mental health trusts.

A Devon Doctors GP has written a book detailing her experience of walking all 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path.
And sales of Dr Kathryn’s Shore’s memoir, Keep the Sea on the Right – Walking the South West Coast Path in Winter, will raise cash for Dorothy House Hospice and Exeter Hospiscare.
