DEVON Primary Link [DPL] is one of a number of services operated by Devon Doctors in tandem with its core out-of-hours business.
DPL fields calls for a variety of different health services, including the Cornwall & Devon Dental Helpline, the Chime Audiology helpline, physio appointments and the falls register.
It operates out of Devon Doctors’ Manaton Court Control Centre under the leadership of Mel Dunn and functions from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Devon Doctors has helped to create a dash of colour across some of Exeter’s best-know green spaces.
Along with the Big Lottery Fund, we gave financial support to the Exeter Wild City initiative – a scheme led by Devon Wildlife Trust [DWT] and Exeter City Council.
This saw more than three hectares of new wildflower meadow planted in 2013 and this summer their beautiful blooms have been showing off their true colours.

Patients have again recognised Devon Doctors as one of the country’s leading providers of out-of-hours [OOH] GP care.
The results of NHS England’s latest GP survey rank the OOH care provided in South Devon and Torbay as the eighth best in the country, while North East and West Devon ranks 10th of the 214 areas assessed.
The Exeter-based organisation has been a regular fixture in top 10 nationwide providers over the course of the past decade.

Devon Doctors is pleased to be able to report on another success story for our friends at Devon Wildlife Trust.
A project supported by Devon Doctors has seen the courtyard space and outbuildings at Woodah Farm, on the edge of Dartmoor, refurbished to create facilities enabling it to act as a centre for traditional rural skills, core conservation work and sustainable land management techniques.

Devon Doctors offers Scott and Susanna Morrish its sincere sympathies for their tragic loss.
We accept that there were failings in our service on the evening of December 22, 2010, and that these failings contributed to a delay in Sam receiving clinical attention.
We acknowledge that subsequent investigations into Sam’s death, both internally and within the wider NHS, were inadequate, adding to the anguish of his parents, and accept responsibility for our part in this.
