The NHS 111 and out-of-hours GP services across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay will be integrated from October 1 to provide a more streamlined service, with quicker access to medical help and advice for patients. The new service will be known as the Integrated Urgent Care Service.

Today [11.02.16] sees the publication of a Case for Change document that sets out the key issues and challenges facing the NHS in Northern, Eastern and Western [NEW] Devon.
It has been published as the first stage in the Success Regime programme, which began gathering evidence in the autumn.

DEVON Doctors and other NHS organisations in the county have launched a new mobile app which will give parents up-to-date advice about common childhood illnesses and how to treat them.

A SURGERY operated by Devon Doctors subsidiary Access Health Care and Dental has been given a clean bill of health by the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
The Care Quality Commission [CQC] has just published its inspection report for Millbrook Surgery, having visited the Corwall practice in November 2015.
Overall the CQC rated the practice as good.
