Cricket fan goes extra mile for IG certificate

A Devon Doctors employee has gone beyond the call of duty to ensure he’s completed his Information Governance training ahead of the March 31 deadline.

Torquay-based driver Graham Webster was in New Zealand to watch the England cricket team on Wednesday when he emailed HR administrator Charlotte Wilson to let her know he’d just completed his final module.

With no play possible due to rain on the first day of the opening test, at University Oval in Dunedin, Graham seized the opportunity to complete the Introduction to Information Governance module.

“I emailed Graham to let him know he had this one module left to complete,” explained Charlotte.

“Little did I imagine that he might do it while sitting in a cricket ground on the other side of the world!”
